Who we are
Maxine HR is a trading name of MJM Consultancy, an independent HR consultancy run by Maxine McMenamin (Chartered MCIPD). Based in Milton Keynes, supporting local businesses in person and providing remote HR support across the UK. MJM Consultancy is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice.
What we collect
If you use the enquiry form on this website, we collect the information you choose to give us: your name, your business name, your email address, your telephone number (if provided), an approximate number of employees (if provided), the type of enquiry, and the message you write. We also record the date and time of your message, your acknowledgement that we may reply, and the network address the message was sent from (used only to prevent spam).
If you call or email Maxine directly, we hold whatever information you share in that correspondence.
Why we use it
We use your information for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if you go on to work with Maxine, to provide the HR support you have asked for. We do not use it for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share it with anyone for their own purposes.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and — where you become a client — the performance of our agreement with you.
Where it is stored
Enquiries sent through this website are stored in a secure database hosted in the European Union, and a notification is sent to Maxine’s email inbox. Only Maxine has access to enquiries. The website itself is hosted by Lovable, and email is handled by our email delivery provider; both act as processors on our instructions.
How long we keep it
[PROVISIONAL — to be confirmed by Maxine] Enquiries are kept for 24 months from our last contact with you, after which they are deleted. Client records are kept for as long as required for the engagement and for any legal or tax obligation that applies afterwards.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask for it in a portable format. To do any of these things, contact Maxine using the details below and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
