Indicative costs

What might it cost?

Every situation is different, but I’d rather you had an honest idea up front than had to ask. I’ll always explain what I think you’ll need and the likely cost before any work begins.

Questions people ask

Before you get in touch

How much does it cost?
It depends entirely on what you need. After an initial conversation I’ll recommend the most appropriate arrangement and confirm the cost clearly before any work begins. The examples above give you a rough idea, but no two businesses need the same thing.
Do I have to sign up to a retainer?
No. Some clients prefer the reassurance of ongoing support, others simply ring me when something comes up. Both are fine, and I’ll never push you into an arrangement you don’t need.
Are you a solicitor?
No. I’m a Chartered MCIPD HR professional, not a solicitor, and nothing I provide is legal advice. Where a matter genuinely needs a solicitor, I’ll say so and help you prepare for that conversation.
Where are you based, and do you work remotely?
Based in Milton Keynes and supporting businesses locally and across the UK, by phone, Teams or Zoom.
Is my business too small?
Almost certainly not. I work mainly with businesses of around 5 to 40 employees, including those with no HR person at all. Smaller businesses are exactly who this service is designed for.
How quickly will I hear back?
Your enquiry comes straight to me, not to a call centre or an inbox someone else manages. I’ll normally respond within 24 hours.

Still not sure which of these fits? Tell me what’s going on and I’ll suggest the most sensible arrangement.
